Hostel

We have separate hostels for Boys and girls located inside the campus itself. Separate Hostel Superintendent and wardens appointed for each Hostel. To make their stay as safe and comfortable as possible, we have provided a host of facilities and conveniences for our students. All the hostels has spacious and airy building with well-furnished rooms and well organized dining hall, and common room. The number of students accommodated in a room depends in which semester the student is studying in. As the concentration and privacy required is more as students’ progress from the first year to the final year, the type of accommodation also varies.

There is one common mess for all the boarders and healthy and tasty veg and non-veg food is served to them, in the Cauvery block.

Hostel affairs are co-ordinated under the guidance and supervision of the resident warden. The hostel committee under the chairmanship of the Principal frames the rules and regulations of the hostel and is the final authority in matters concerning the hostel.

Mess Regulations

Meal timings are as follows:

• Breakfast - 8.00am to 9.00 am
• Lunch - 1.15pm to 2.15pm
• Dinner - 8.00pm to 9.00pm

The mess timings may change depending upon the situation.
Charges per month will be according to the actual mess expenditure incurred as agreed with the Student council time to time.
Hostel Charges are subject to revision from time to time.
No guests are allowed in the Mess.

Discipline & Code of Conduct

• Students must carry the Hostel Identity Card with them and produce the same on demand by College/Hostel officials.
• Lady visitors are not allowed to enter the boys hostel and Gents visitors are not allowed to enter the girls hostel. However, they may meet the resident concerned only upto 7.00 p.m. outside the hostel/in the Common Room.
• Ragging in any form, causing mental and physical agony and abetment of ragging, is strictly prohibited under the University Ordinance XV (C) and will invite severe discippnary action even to the extent of expulsion from the Hostel.
• Consumption of pquor, and/or contraband drugs, and/or smoking is strictly prohibited during the resident’s stay in the Hostel. Anyone found guilty of contravening this regulation will be expelled from the Hostel immediately and fine of Rs. 10,000/- may be imposed as well.

Laboratory

As we know practical knowledge is a necessary part of science education. So we have separate laboratories for separate departments like Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Computer Science. All laboratories are well equipped with ultra-modern equipments and having capacity of 32 students at a time. These laboratories are kept up to date, on a regular basis, according to changing syllabi.

Computer Lab

We have a well furnished Computer Laboratory with highly configured PC's and 24hrs high speed internet service.

Library

We provides a library with reading area for students and teachers. Our library is well ventilated, lightedand aired to facilitate comfortable reading. Our library contains a rich collection of books, magazines/journals and daily Newspaper.
Only current students and staff of the college are allowed to access books and reading area of the library.
